A BUDDING Walt Disney has won a primary school talent competition by creating an animated film.
Sam Thomas, nine, of Sandfield Road, Oxford, used stop-motion animation to create a minute-long film about the football rivalry between his team, Stoke City, and his teacher’s, Reading FC, winning New Marston Primary School’s annual talent contest.
He said: “I was not expecting to win, and when I did, I was really shocked because there were so many other acts.
“There was gymnastics, judo, karate, singing and dancing.”
Headteacher Zara d Archambaud said: “Lots of our children have hidden talents, and this is a way for us to find out about them.”
