FOUR men have appeared in court and denied intimidating a witness in a murder trial.

Byron Haines, George Kirika, Callum Spencer and Dexter Williams are charged with intimidating John Amadason during the trial of Eze Eke.

Eke was last month convicted of murdering Blayne Ridgway in the city centre.

The 16-year-old attacked the father-of-one outside the Que Pasa bar in Queen Street, Oxford, in the early hours of May 8.

Haines, 20, from Henley Street, in East Oxford, is also charged with breaching an antisocial behaviour order.

All four denied the charges at Oxford Crown Court yesterday and are now expected to stand trial on April 11, at Oxford Crown Court.

Kirika, 19, from Woodins Way, Oxford, was given bail at yesterday’s hearing.

However, Spencer, 18, from Nettlebed Mead, Greater Leys, Oxford; Williams, 21, from Coriander Way, Greater Leys, and Haines were all remanded in custody until the trial.
