NEWLYWEDS Marcus and Vicki Lockhart have been left devastated after burglars stole wedding and honeymoon photos.

Using a crowbar, thieves forced open a door at the couple’s home in Pembroke Place, Bampton, on Friday, and stole a laptop, pocket camera, camcorder and jewellery given to Mrs Lockhart by her late father and grandmother. The couple are pictured with one of the official photographer’s photos of the wedding.

The laptop and camcorder contained pictures of their honeymoon to Miami and Key West and personal photos of the wedding day.

A cash reward is being offered for information leading to their safe return.

Mrs Lockhart, 37, said: “I feel very low. They have taken things that we can’t replace and they won’t get much for them.

“The house is not going to be left until there is more security. I feel nervous that they know what is in the house and will come back again.”

Mr Lockhart, 42, said the couple’s pocket camera had more than 600 photos on it. He said: “We’re appealing to anyone who has information on the burglary to contact the police. We are desperate to get our belongings back, especially the photographs which cannot be replaced.”

Anyone with information should call police on 08458 505505.
