BICESTER: Diesel leaked on to the A41 after a car transporter lorry caught fire.
Fire crews were called to the blaze south of the town at 3.38pm yesterday. The fire had spread to a car on the back of the vehicle.
More than 25 litres of diesel spilled on to the road and Environment Agency staff were called in to clear it up. No-one was hurt.
Drivers faced delays on the bypass until about 6pm, when the fuel was cleared.
