THE message about flu and the vaccine is the right one: Don’t panic and use common sense.
But once again we find ourselves less than reassured that NHS Oxfordshire is doing all it can to properly manage a public health issue. It refuses to say how many GPs’ surgeries have run out of flu vaccine and says doctors are being asked to organise sharing stocks between themselves.
Our doctors are busy enough. Surely taking command of this situation and managing vaccine stocks between surgeries is the leadership a PCT should show.
