I AGREE with Mrs LD Hewson’s letter (‘Hospital Heroes’, ViewPoints, December 15, 2010).
I called the emergency services on Sunday, November 12, 2010, at about 8am.
They were at my house in less than 10 minutes.
I was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital by ambulance. The paramedics were great.
I was seen in less than 15 minutes. The nurses and doctors were excellent.
As luck would have it, it was not as serious as first thought and I was discharged at 8pm.
Thank you to all those wonderful people.
