TWO men have been bailed after a man was left with head injuries in an Oxford city centre subway.
The 29-year-old was attacked at about 3.30am on New Year’s Eve at the junction of New Road and Castle Street, near the Westgate Shopping Centre.
A 26-year-old man and a 24-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm but were later released on bail until March 5.
The victim was admitted to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Headington, but has since been discharged after treatment.
