People convicted of offences at Oxford Magistrates' Court recently: Dudley Powell, 21, of Whitehouse Road, Woodcote, admitted criminally damaging a door in Henley on October 30. Twelve-month conditional discharge, £50 compensation and £20 costs.

Michelle Robbins, 50, of Nursery View, Faringdon, admitted drink driving in Stanford Road, Faringdon, on October 30. Had 60 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mg. Fined £315, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for a year.

Michael Gallagher, 30, of Millers Acre, Oxford, admitted failing to attend or remain for the duration of an initial assessment following a test for a Class A drug in Oxford on September 14. Fined £50 and a £15 victims’ surcharge.

David Pearcey, 36, of Speedwell Street, Oxford, admitted being drunk and disorderly at Lucy Faithful House, Oxford, and assaulting a Pc on October 22. Given a one-month curfew.

Emmanuel Tagoe, 30, of Green Ridges, Oxford, admitted two counts of assault by beating and using words or behaviour to give fear of unlawful violence in Oxford on June 19. Given a three-month curfew, told to pay £100 compensation and £425 costs.

James Qualter, 43, of Birchfield Close, Oxford, admitted shoplifting meat worth £12.75 from Tesco in Oxford on September 24 and committing the offence while subject to conditional discharge. Jailed for four weeks.

Charles Bloomfield, 18, of The Grange, Hinton Waldrist, admitted drink driving in Prior’s Lane, Hinton Waldrist, on October 28. Had 47 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mg. Fined £200, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for a year.

Michael Dingle, 34, of Bridgeside Close, Portsmouth, convicted of going equipped for theft and shoplifting Champagne and food valued at £509.72 from Sainsbury’s in Witney on May 7, 2009. Jailed for eight weeks.

Emma Craft, 20, of Marjoram Close, Oxford, admitted causing £1,884.84 of criminal damage to a Ford Galaxy and setting an animal, namely a Staffordshire bull terrier, to attack, worry or put someone in fear in Oxford on April 20. Given 150 hours’ unpaid work and told to pay £250 compensation.

Mark Kelly, 28, of Barton Lane, Oxford, admitted harassment/ put in fear of violence in Oxford between July 13 and 15 by sending phone and Facebook messages threatening to kill or harm. Given a three-month curfew, a restraining order and told to pay £100 compensation.

Basil Bushnell, 58, of Eynsham Road, Cassington, admitted driving without due care and attention on the A329 in Great Haseley, on May 3. Fined £200, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Given five penalty points.

Thomas Richards, 24, of Rissington Drive, Witney, admitted two counts of being drunk and disorderly in Rissington Drive, Witney, on October 28 and November 5, and committing an offence while subject to a conditional discharge. Fined £200, £85 costs and a £15 victims’ surcharge. Given a two-year conditional discharge.

Alec Stevens, 35, of Old London Road, Chipping Norton, admitted drink driving in Iffley Road, Oxford, on November 1. Had 74 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mg. Fined £150, £85 costs and a £15 victims’ surcharge. Banned from driving for 18 months.

Mihails Zavjalovs, 31, of Masons Road, Oxford, admitted drink driving in Cleveland Road, Oxford, on October 16. Had 83 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35. Told to do 50 hours’ unpaid work and pay £85 costs. Banned from driving for three years.

John Cronin, 71, of Dashwood Road, Oxford, admitted drink driving in Fiennes Road, Oxford, on August 21. Had 125 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mg. Told to do 100 hours’ unpaid work and pay £80 costs. Banned from driving for three years.

Carl Stengel, 53, of Wood Farm, Boston, Lincolnshire, admitted failing to comply with the gross weight limit of a motor vehicle in Harwell Road, Sutton Courtenay. Fined £150, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £125 costs.

Dainius Sulinskas, 37, of Chobham Road, London, admitted aiding or abetting danger of injury due to vehicle condition on the A34 near Abingdon, due to the weight of vehicle load. Fined £120, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £125 costs, with three penalty points.

Albert Little, 58, of Fairfax Gate, Holton, admitted failing to notify a change of circumstances affecting entitlement to Job Seeker’s Allowance by failing to declare his partner was working. Given a 12-month conditional discharge.

Kim Ryder, 22, of Bourton Close, Witney, admitted failing to notify a change of circumstances affecting entitlement to Carer’s Allowance by failing to declare she was working. Given a 12-month conditional discharge.

Barry Horwood, 36, of Fettiplace Road, Oxford, admitted possession of cannabis (Class B) in Oxford on October 27. Fined £25, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs.

Jerry Tuitt, 46, of Southfield Park, Oxford, admitted two counts of racially or religiously aggravated harassment, alarm or distress by words or writing in Oxford on June 15 and 18. Fined £80, £50 compensation, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £100 costs. Also given a restraining order.
