Fire crews were called to a flat in St Helen’s Mews, Abingdon, today after coal in a storage cupboard caught alight.
Ten firefighters tackled the small fire outside a first-floor flat off West St Helen’s Street at 7.45am. The fire started accidentally and took about five minutes to bring under control. No one was hurt.
