THE people of Abingdon have turned out in force to welcome home members of the town’s 12 Logistic Support Regiment.
Medals were handed out to about 180 soldiers, based at Dalton Barracks, who have returned from a six-month tour of duty in Afghanistan.
They have well and truly earned a good break and well done to everyone who turned up to give our local heroes a warm welcome home.
