Kidlington Youth Rangers progressed to the U11 Cup 3rd Round, winning 7-1 at home to St.Edmunds. Kidlington Opened their account When Raphael Rice scored from close range. Kidlington added a second when Will Newcombe headed in from a corner.Kidlington were pushing forward at every Opportunity and were caught by a Quick break from St. Edmunds with April Bedford scoring a brilliant goal from a tight angle. St Edmunds were now pushing for an equaliser and Kidlington Broke Quickly from defence and with some neat first time passing created a chance for Raphael Rice to make it 3-1.
The Second Half saw both Teams playing good Football and creating chances. Kidlington Extended their Lead when Will Newcombe scored a good individual goal. Will Newcombe Completed his hat trick to Make it 5-1 with a breakaway goal. Raphael Rice made it 6-1 also scoring a hat trick. Kidlington Completed the scoring when Sam Newcombe scored from a corner at the end of the game.
