The 26-year-old man who died after the car he was driving hit a railway bridge has been named locally as Trevor Smith.
Mr Smith was pronounced dead at the scene, in Bucknell Road, Bicester, at the junction with Lords Lane.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident which happened on Saturday about 7am.
