A three-vehicle crash today led to the closure of the A40 eastbound near Witney.
The road was closed at the A415 Ducklington Lane junction.
The collision happened just east of the B4022 eastbound slip road, which has also been closed.
Traffic heading towards Oxford from Witney is having to use the A4095 and the road through South Leigh.
Police have fully closed the eastbound carriageway while investigations are carried out.
Delays are reported on the approach to the closure.
