Headington secured a good win away at Rotherfield today. A really good game full of goalmouth incidents and a great game that ebbed and flowed which could have gone either way.

Headington took the lead on 12 mins after shifting the ball well across the box to free up Daniel Wells for his fist ever goal. Rotherfield hit back with a free kick just under the bar on 20 mins and then took the lead on 28 mins for 2-1 at half time. Sukhi Masih was in superb form in the Headington goal clawing several efforts out from what seemed certain goals.

Headington regrouped and hit back after the break, 6 mins into the half Tyrhys Lukonyomoi got Headington level, William Munt got another bundled over the line on 40 mins for 3-2. An own goal from Rotherfield finished the scoring at 4-2 to Headington, though a frantic last 5 mins saw resolute defending from Headington to preserve their lead. Great game well hosted by Rotherfield.
