Fire crews were met with an unusual odour when they attended a blaze at a house in Boxhedge Road West, Banbury, and discovered a cannabis factory.
Crews were called out to a fire in a first-floor bedroom with smoke coming out of the roof of the property on Friday just before 11am.
A woman at the house was treated for smoke inhalation by an ambulance crew.
Two 30-year-old men were arrested on suspicion of cultivation with intent to supply and were bailed until December 10.
