A television, sound system and car were stolen from a house in Blewbury on Halloween.
Burglars broke into the house in Robinson Close by forcing the back door some time between 7pm and 10pm on Sunday.
They took car keys and drove off in a grey Volvo S40 parked on the driveway.
The car was found burnt out at 10pm in Remenham near Henley.
Pc Fran Griffin said: “There were tyre scorch marks left on the driveway, which suggests the vehicle left the scene at high speed.”
