Police are appealing for information after a burglary in Blewbury, where a car was stolen.

Burglars forced their way into a property in Robinson Close between 7pm and 10pm on Sunday, and stole a Sony flat-screen TV and surround sound speakers, a sat nav and the keys to a grey Volvo S40.

They then used the keys to steal the Volvo S40 from the driveway. It was found, burnt out, at 10pm in Remenham.

PC Fran Griffin said: “I would like to hear from anyone who may have any information about this incident.

“There were tyre scorch marks left on the driveway, which suggests the vehicle left the scene at high speed. Perhaps you heard the car in the area and looked out of your window to investigate?

“Did you see a car like this being driven erratically in the area between 7pm and 10pm? If so, then we would like to hear from you.”

Anyone with information should contact PC Griffin via the 24-hour Thames Valley Police Enquiry Line on 0845 8 505 505. Alternatively, you can contact the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
