THE Royal British Legion will stand in tribute as the body of a British solider killed in Afghanistan is brought to the John Radcliffe Hospital on Thursday.
The soldier, from 101 (City of London) Engineer Regiment (Explosive Ordnance Disposal), was killed by small arms fire on Sunday in the Nahr-e Saraj North District of Helmand Province. He has not yet been named.
Legion members, ex-servicement and members of the public expect to be in Headley Way to meet the cortege at 2.45pm.
