Darren Haines, 39, of Little Bury, Oxford, admitted possession of cocaine (Class A) and criminal damage of an unknown value to a taxi in Oxford on September 26. Fined £530, £150 compensation, £15 victims’ surcharge and £80 costs.

John Hayden, 40, of Spencer Crescent, Oxford, admitted theft by an employee of 11 satellite navigation units valued at £1,840 belonging to Halfords in Oxford on September 1. Given a six-month drug-rehabilitation requirement and 12 months’ supervision.

Marc Taylor, 45, of Barns Road, Oxford, admitted criminal damage to a value unknown to a bicycle in Oxford on October 2. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £30 costs.

Martin Anderson, 27, of Harold Close, Oxford, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend unpaid work on September 10. Given an extra three hours’ unpaid work and told to pay £30 costs.

Joshua Crossan, 18, of Pinnocks Way, Oxford, convicted of two counts of assault by beating in Oxford on January 31. Told to participate in the Thinking Skills programme for 30 days and pay £100 costs.

Stephen Reeves, 21, of Burchester Avenue, Oxford, admitted assault occasioning actual bodily harm and assault by beating in Oxford on June 13. Given a 12-week curfew, six months’ supervision and told to report for restorative justice for four days. Also given 140 hours’ unpaid work and told to pay £450 compensation and £85 costs.

Jasim Elyas, 38, of Jenson Road, Oxford, admitted two counts of fraud by false representation to gain jobseeker’s allowance and employment and support allowance in Oxford between March and August. Jailed for 12 weeks due to previous record and seriousness of the offence.

Peter Farmer, 45, of Swinburne Road, Oxford, admitted two counts of persistently making use of a public communication network to cause annoyance, inconvenience or anxiety between November 2009 and August 2010. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £100 costs.

Thomas Swan, 45, of Townsend Square, Oxford, admitted assault by beating in Oxford on May 28. Given six months’ supervision and told to pay £100 costs and £100 compensation.

Phillip Grace, 25, of Crowsley Way, Sonning Common, admitted two counts of theft by an employee of scratch cards valued at approximately £200 from WH Smith in Henley between April and July. Fined £140, £200 compensation, £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Lyndsey Jackson, 33, of Furlong Row, Clanfield, admitted possession of 25g of ketamine (Class C) in Oxford on December 8. Given a six-month conditional discharge.

Emma Chandler, 19, of Whitehorn Way, Oxford, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a suspended sentence order by failing to attend supervision on September 16. Suspended sentence implemented as 28 days in prison.

Sean Holman, 51, of Clarks Row, Oxford, admitted using threatening words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Oxford on September 23. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay £20 costs.

Afzal Mohammed, 33, of Chillingworth Crescent, Oxford, admitted possession of cannabis (Class B) in Oxford on September 27. Fined £85, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Joseph Oufan, 22, of Colchester Avenue, Penylan, Cardiff, admitted possession of cannabis (Class B) in Oxford on April 24. Fined £50 and a £15 victims’ surcharge.

Liam Keys, 18, of North Way, Oxford, convicted of failing to comply with the requirements of a youth-rehabilitation order by tampering with a curfew tag on July 31 and failing to make himself available to tagging staff on July 31, August 1 and August 2. Fined £50 and a £15 victims’ surcharge.

Craig McNulty, 45, of Croft Road, Marston, Oxford, admitted shoplifting two bottles of whisky to the value of £30 from Asda in Wheatley on July 16. Fined £135, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
