Police are appealing for information after a robbery in Wantage, where a 34-year-old man had two iPhones stolen.

At about 8.40pm on Wednesday, the man was in Ormond Road when he was approached by two men.

The men threatened the man with a knife and demanded he hand over his property, stealing a black iPhone 3G and a black iPhone 4. The two men then ran away from the scene.

The two men are described as being black, 20 to 30 years old; both were about 5ft 9in tall and of average build.

One of the men wore a dark-coloured hooded top and the other man wore a grey hooded top.

Det Con Jon Axford said: “I would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of this incident who may have seen or heard anything.

“I would also like to hear from anyone who may have seen these two men around the town, either before or after this incident occurred.”
