Police today appealed for witnesses after a teenager was injured in a crash at the Headington roundabout.
Just after 4pm on Monday, a white Iveco Eurocargo LGV and a red Mini Cooper collided on the A40, at the Headington roundabout.
The driver of the Iveco failed to stop at the scene.
The 19-year-old driver of the Mini sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision. She was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, for treatment.
Anyone who witnessed the collision, or saw either vehicle prior to it, is asked to contact PC Gavin Newman via the 24-hour Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505. If you don’t want to speak to police or leave your name, call the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
