BUSINESS Secretary Vince Cable is hugely discredited in dodging a visit to Oxford University because of student demonstrations against raising the tuition fee cap.
The Liberal Democrats may not have expected to find themselves in power, but now they are part of the Coalition is it too much to expect ministers like Mr Cable to have the bottle to face protests against unpopular Government plans?
His spokesman’s explanation that he did not want to add to disruption for Oxford citizens or to police costs was feeble.
You know what they say, Mr Cable. If you can’t stand the heat....
