THE woman described as Didcot’s Most Wanted, Adelle McColl, will appear on the BBC’s Crimewatch programme tonight.

McColl failed to appear at court for sentencing after being found guilty of GBH with intent at Oxford Crown Court in June. A warrant for her arrest was issued.

Police have reported sightings in the town as well as in Melksham, Wiltshire, in the past two weeks.

McColl was charged with assault on July 22, after she violently assaulted a man in Northbourne Court, Didcot, in March last year.

She was tried in her absence.

Commonly known as Julie Dance, she is white, 5ft 4in tall, of slim build, with short bleached-blonde hair, blue tattooed or pencilled eye brows, and a scar on the left side of her face.

She also has a mole or dot tattoo on the left side of her mouth above her lip. Police believe she may have dyed her hair or be wearing a wig. Her tattooed eyebrows may now be green.

Anyone with information should contact police on 08458 505505 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.

Crimewatch is on BBC1 at 9pm.
