A conference on caring for people nearing the end of their lives takes place in Oxford tomorrow.
The Orders of St John Care Trust (OSJCT), in partnership with NHS Oxfordshire, will discuss working practices in end of life care, including caring for those with dementia.
Representatives from the trust’s 18 Oxfordshire care homes and others, including Oxfordshire County Council, Oxfordshire Carers Forum and the Oxfordshire branch of Age UK, will attend the conference at the Kings Centre, in Osney Mead.
Cristina Pashmi, training manager at OSJCT, said: “The event aims to give practitioners the opportunity to learn about new topics and share ideas.
"It will also give us the chance to showcase some of the work that is taking place across the region.”
