Police arrested two men in the early hours today after a spate of criminal damage in Eynsham.

Shortly after 1am, vehicles and property were damaged in Acre End Street.

PC Mike Welsh said: “A total of 12 cars were damaged during the incident, where either the wing mirrors or windows had been smashed.

“A window to a house was damaged and also the Lloyds Chemist window was cracked during the incident.

“Thanks to the prompt actions of the residents who reported it to police, officers quickly arrived in Eynsham and two men were arrested close by.”

  • Two men, aged 20 and 23, have been arrested in connection with the incident and are in custody.
