A BID to build an incinerator in Arley, near Bicester, was approved today.
Oxfordshire County Council's planning and regulation committee passed the plan this afternoon.
Protesters gathered outside ahead of the 2pm meeting.
Viridor put forward the plan after the council threw out a similar bid 12 months ago. This was due to go to a public inquiry.
A council planning officer recommended the plan be approved today (see link below).
