The publication in Weekend today of Theresa Thompson’s review of the Royal Academy’s Treasures from Budapest exhibition reminds me that I owe an apology to my friends at the RA for a silly slip in a piece I wrote about it last month.
After first stating correctly where I saw the show, I went on to introduce confusion for readers by suddenly referring to its being at the V&A.
That I was indeed present at the Academy will be apparent from the photograph on the left.
I hope that by printing it I will satisfy Gray Matter readers who are complaining that there have been far too few pictures of me lately.
