A nurse who went missing after taking part in a medical trial for a treatment for malaria has turned up safe and well in the Netherlands.
Matthew Lloyd, 35, above, from Southampton, in Hampshire, was reported missing when he failed to attend an appointment in Oxford on October 7, when he was due to receive drugs in connection with the trial.
Mr Lloyd, who police said could die if he did not receive urgent medication, is being assessed in a Dutch hospital, a Hampshire Police spokesman said yesterday.
