Drayton Wasps made it two wins on the bounce with this hard earned victory over Kennington Athletic. Drayton started the stronger, and had the ball in the back of the net twice in the first five minutes, only to be denied by the linesman's flag. Drayton got their just reward after 15 minutes, when Josh Dennis surged through the Kennington defence and set up Amrik Sahota to score his first goal for The Wasps. Despite having further chances to increase their lead, the scoreline remained 1-0 at half time. Kennington gained more possession in the 2nd half, but were unable to breakdown a resolute Wasps defence superbly marshalled by Brandon Hewerdine and Lewis Waddup.
