THANKFULLY Southern Gas Networks have finished their work at the junction of Banbury Road and Marston Ferry Road – and the stranglehold on the city’s road users has been released.
But were the weeks of misery really necessary? The work may have been important, but could it not have been completed in the summer, before the schools returned?
Or, here’s a thought, how about working into the night, or even getting up at a reasonable time and starting at dawn?
G HUSBAND, North Oxford
