Raymond Smith, 41, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted theft of an iPod valued at £193 from Weston Computer in Oxford on May 26. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £193 compensation.

Matthew Bagnall-Nevers, 21, of Nye Bevan Close, Oxford, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend unpaid work on July 12. Given an extra 20 hours’ unpaid work and told to pay £50 costs.

Maurice Green, 57, of Chiltern View, Ewelme, admitted using threatening words or behaviour causing harassment, alarm or distress on July 14 in Wallingford. Given a three-month conditional discharge.

Marlon George, 32, of Rectory Meadow, Chinnor, admitted possession of cannabis (Class B) in Chinnor on July 30. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay £85 costs.

Curtis Taylor, 18, of Milton Road, Oxford, admitted aggravated vehicle taking, taking a vehicle without consent, driving without insurance and driving without a licence on August 9 in Old Marston Road, Oxford. Sent to a young offenders’ institution for 16 weeks due to driving at up to 75mph in a residential area. Banned from driving for a year.

Crispian Morris, 36, of McCabe Place, Headington, Oxford, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing without reasonable excuse to remain under curfew.

Order varied. Curfew extended by four weeks and ordered to pay £60 costs.

Simon White, 31, of Wynbush Road, Oxford, admitted shoplifting a suede bag valued at £160 from Whistles in Oxford on June 4 and obstructing or resisting a police officer in Oxford on June 21. Jailed for eight weeks due to previous offences funding a cocaine habit.

David Balfour, 26, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted possession of cannabis (Class B) in Oxford on July 29 and commission of a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge. Fined £100, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £25 costs.

Shaun Gurney, 25, of Green Road, Oxford, admitted being drunk in charge of a motorbike in a bridleway off Delbush Road, Oxford. Namely having 74 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mg. Fined £85, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £25 costs. Given 10 penalty points.

Richard Kidd, 30, of Oxford Road, Cumnor, admitted failing as a driver to provide a specimen for analysis in Oxford on July 28. Fined £275, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for a year.

Diana Parminter, of Dalton Barracks, Abingdon, admitted drink driving in Hollow Way, Oxford, on July 29. Namely having 67microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mg. Fined £250, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 17 months.

Jason Stanmore, 24, of Shepherds Hill, Oxford, admitted failing to attend an initial assessment following a positive test for cocaine in Oxford on August 2. Fined £50 and a £15 victims’ surcharge.

Marc Taylor, 45, of Barns Road, Oxford, admitted shoplifting five bottles of champagne and four bottles of Bailey’s, valued at £176.96, from Marks and Spencer in Oxford on July 4. Given six-month drug-rehabilitation order.

DIDCOT

Adam Purse, 19, of Malvern Close, Didcot, admitted drink driving in Didcot on July 24. Namely having 56 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mg.

Fined £125, £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Driving ban for three years.

John Conway, 56, of Fern Hill Road, Oxford, admitted failing as a driver to provide a specimen for analysis in Abingdon on June 23. Given a 12-week curfew and told to pay £85 costs. Banned from driving for three years.

Mark Dawson, 25, of Dibden Purlieu, Hampshire, admitted drink driving in Steventon, on June 10, having 148 miligrammes of alcohol in 100ml of blood, above the legal limit of 80mg. Fined £200, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 18 months.

Daniel Metcalfe, 31, of Tyrrells Way, Sutton Courtenay, admitted driving without insurance or a licence and drink driving in Didcot, on July 18. Namely having 61 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mg. Fined £100, £15 victims’ surcharge and £35 costs. Banned from driving for 18 months.
