ONE person needed hospital treatment after an Oxford Tube coach overturned on the M40 during the early hours today.

The incident happened at 2am on the London-bound carriageway, between junction three at Loudwater and junction two at Beaconsfield.

It is understood that the crash happened when a passenger tried to grab the steering wheel.

Rebecca Webber, a spokesman for Thames Valley Police, said: “Following the crash one man was arrested.

“He had been a passenger on the coach and was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and assault."
