BT engineers will tomorrow continue work to reconnect Internet and phone users, cut off after the theft of 1,600 metres of copper wire last week.
The company said it had taken longer than expected because of the amount of damage caused.
A spokesman said: “The reconnection is proving to be an extremely complex and time-consuming job.”
