A 53-year-old woman was given a one year conditional discharge after she admitted assault.
Janet Funnell, of Thorpe Road, Upper Wardington, Banbury, was charged with the offence after an incident in the village where she assaulted a 43-year-old man. Banbury magistrates also gave Funnell a two-year restraining order not to pester or harass the victim or his family.
