THE news of Dan Lewis’s death at Tumbling Bay was tragic.
Our sympathies are with the family in what must be a terrible ordeal.
It does, however, serve as a timely reminder about the dangers of swimming in rivers.
The Environment Agency today offers sound advice about the difficulties people can face.
Dan’s death is an upsetting story.
But, if anything can be taken from the loss of a young life, it must be for others to take care.
