Sir – I would like to say thank you to the person in Witney who handed my car service pack into the police station.
I was having a bad day, being late for my first lesson. Then finding out that I had a nail in my rear tyre, which needed changing before we set off.
I took the manual out to show my pupil where the jacking points are on the car. In my haste to get going, I left it on the roof.
It could have been lost anywhere between Witney and Banbury, our lesson destination.
The cost of the pack is relatively small, but the time saved on ordering a new one paying for and collecting it is priceless.
It’s good to see that Witney still has the community spirit. Thank you again.
