An Oxford Brookes University student has been jailed after drunkenly attacking a paramedic.
Melissa Massey, 20, the founder-president of the university’s Women in Business Society, admitted common assault on 43-year-old Ann Sumner on New Year’s Day.
Massey punched and pulled hair from the ambulance worker’s head during the attack in the centre of Manchester. She was jailed for eight weeks by city magistrates yesterday.
