Motorists suffered heavy traffic delays following a pile-up and a broken-down lorry on the A34 during morning rush-hour today.
Five cars crashed on the A34 between the Pear Tree and Botley interchanges shortly before 8am causing tailbacks as motorists were restricted to one lane.
A broken-down lorry also caused traffic delays on the A34 near the Junction 9 with the M40.
