Driver Angela Dublin will not face the prospect of a longer prison sentence over Oxford's Eastern Bypass crash.

Dublin, a 46-year-old nurse, of London Road, Headington, was jailed for two years after admitting causing the deaths of three 13-year-olds and a 21-year-old student by dangerous driving last year.

The Crown Prosecution Service called for a review of the sentence and a new hearing at the Court of Appeal to see if the jail term was unduly lenient.

Attorney General Lord Goldsmith today refused to grant a new hearing after studying the case for the past four weeks.
