Sir, I read with great interest the letter in your issue (April 7) headed Imaginative proposal by F G Davies. I would like to suggest that instead of building another memorial, the present beautiful Martyrs' Memorial be re-dedicated to include all who suffered for their faith, whatever their religion. One has to face it: the Protestant queen, Elizabeth, was just as bad as her sister, the Catholic queen, Mary.
