SIX-TIMES world champion Tony Rickardsson has been warming up for Oxford Cheetahs' big derby challenge at home to arch rivals Swindon tomorrow night.
All the team plus No 8 Matthew Tresarrieu went through their paces following a press conference at Oxford Stadium yesterday.
And they looked pretty sharp on a dust bowl of a track until staff watered things down.
All eyes, naturally, were on the big gun Rickardsson - and he didn't let them down, looking every bit a world champ in front of sponsors and season-ticket holders.
The new riders adapted to the track well and young Swede Eric Andersson couldn't wait to turn a wheel round Sandy Lane, looking very impressive with some determined action.
Promoter Aaron Lanney said: "We are nearly there. I can't wait for Wednesday. Let battle commence."
