South West 1: Chinnor warmed up for Saturday's crunch clash at Clifton by thrashing Penryn 88-10 at Kingsey Road.
John Brodley's men ran in 14 tries, but their romp looked far from likely after the Cornishmen made a strong start.
However, a dominant first 15 minutes only yielded them a penalty from Cornwall scrum-half Pascoe.
Winger Eric Brown then got the ball rolling for Chinnor, his angle of running deceiving the visiting defence.
James Hewitt converted this and their second from the powerful San Soane.
Both players had bagged doubles by the break, with prop Joe Winpenny and No 8 Paul Hennessy also on target.
Hewitt converted three of these and was on target with four more in the second half.
Chinnor scrum half Morgan Thompson made it 43-3 before replacement Jamie Hiscock ran in a double and was only denied a hat-trick by a marginally forward pass.
Hewitt (2), Matt Buckley, Darren Oxley and Rewi Tolich completed the hosts' tally, while Geraty bagged a Penryn consolation, which Pascoe converted.
