The launch of Malmaison Oxford, the new hotel in the former Oxford Prison has been put back.
Malmaison spokesman Elizabeth Morrison said Oxford Castle Ltd, which owns the site, had postponed yesterday's planned opening until Friday.
She apologised for any inconvenience, but said that the delay was out of Malmaison's control.
No-one from Oxford Castle Ltd was available to comment at the time of going to press.
