Wind, rain and cold weather cannot deter one group of music fans, who are camping outside Oxford's New Theatre to get tickets to see their idol, Irish singer Daniel O'Donnell.

Liz Leech, Margaret Davis and Tracy and Caroline Newbury have been braving the elements and curious passers-by since Wednesday evening, when they set up camp outside the George Street theatre.

They hope to get the best seats for the April 9 gig when they go on sale at 9am tomorrow (Saturday).

Tracy, who has travelled from Gloucestershire with her mother Caroline, has been all over the UK and even to the US to see Daniel. She said: "We are huge fans. It's his charm, his mannerisms...his leather trousers! We once spent six days outside a theatre in Hereford. If you're going to see him, you might as well have good seats."
