English League: Oxford Hawks suffered their fourth successive defeat in the National South Division when they were beaten 2-1 at home by Plymouth Marjon.
They were made to pay for two defensive mistakes which cost them the game.
There was little between the two sides in horrendous conditions.
Plymouth took the lead through Paul Bennett in the 20th minute.
A short corner strike was initially saved well by Chris Hargreaves but Hawks' defence failed to clear the rebound and the ball was forced in.
Hawks equalised in the 46th minute. A great passing move resulted in Richard Fogden driving into the D. His pull-back found James Neilson, who finished from close range.
With ten minutes left, Plymouth scored the winner.
A short corner move was well read by Craig Perks, but his poor first touch allowed Andrew Hill to flick the ball past the Hawks keeper.
