GLS Football Hellenic League - Bicester Town 3, Chinnor 2: Chinnor suffered the loss of defender Richard Carr, who was sent off for comments made to an assistant after just ten minutes of Saturday's Division 1 East game.

But Bicester found it hard to break down their depleted opponents.

Lee Currie maintained his good form to open the scoring for Biceser, and in the second half Lee Harris increased the home side's lead.

The visitors, however, came storming back to level through Ryan Davies and Ed Janes.

But hot-shot Currie had the last word with a headed goal in the 70th minute.

Hook Norton 4, Clanfield 0: The two-weeks rest since their last Division 1 West match obviously did the trick for Hook Norton who ran out comfortable winners.

In the the absence of Scott Matthews, young reserve 'keeper Bill Johnson acquitted himself well and kept a clean sheet for the Brewery Boys.

The home side got off to a flier, with central defender Tim Jones notching his first goal of the season after six minutes.

They had to wait until the 54th minute for the second goal as Richard Northover headed home Ryan Breslin's cross.

Mike Kenny got on the end of a Breslin free-kick to make it 3-0 in the 78th minute.

Then, a sliding pass on the left wing from young substitute Mike Pinfold to Northover saw the Hooky No 10 set up Steve O'Rourke who fired into the roof of the net.

Headington Amateurs 2, Tytherington Rocks 4: After taking an early lead, Headington slipped to their third home defeat.

Headington were in front in the16th minute when a long throw from Ted Jones was headed on by Jamie Murray for Jason Maciak to sidefoot home.

Although Headington threat- ened, Rocks always looked dangerous.

They equalised when, after a cut-back from the right wing, Murray's desperate attempt to clear ended in an own goal.

In the second half, Headington conceded goals to Jimmy Potts (2) and Ackland as their defence became stretched.

Headington fought on, and with time running out, Neil Drewett pulled a goal back.
