OXFORD United midfielder David Smith's one-match ban for Saturday's derby against arch rivals Swindon Town at the Manor Ground has been confirmed.

Smith will be a rare absentee after picking up a fifth booking in the 2-0 win over Norwich last month.

Winger Joey Beauchamp and left back Simon Marsh are also set to get one-match bans under the same procedure for the home game against Tranmere on Saturday week.

Meanwhile, there were less than 100 tickets left yesterday afternoon for this Saturday's Swindon clash, and the sold out signs could be up by the end of today.

Fans are also reminded that they can save money for United's game at QPR on Tuesday night by buying their tickets from the Manor.

United have tickets available at £13 for adults and £7 for under 16s and over 65s, but any they return to QPR will cost fans £15 and £8 respectively at Loftus Road for the same seats.

"If they know they are going they might as well buy them here," said secretary Mick Brown.
