Top Oxford rock band Supergrass are celebrating the arrival of their newest member.
In true rock-star style, a baby has been born to coincide with the release of a new single and album.
Drummer Danny Goffey's girlfriend Sam gave birth to a bouncing baby boy, Frankie.
The birth coincides with the release of the band's new single Pumping Up Your Stereo due out today. In the video to accompany the single the group appear as 15ft Muppets designed by Jim Henson's Creature Shop.
The band spent two days suspended from a ceiling filming the scenes which show singer Gaz Coombes strumming a huge foam guitar.
New dad Danny ends up losing his head in an explosion worthy of Animal, the Muppets' madcap drummer.
Bassist and vocalist Micky Quinn said: "I'll let you into a secret. The bodies in the video are not really puppets - we stretched our bodies to 15ft. It really hurt too. "Oxford is the greatest town in the world and that is why I live there."
Micky sings lead vocals for the first time on 'Lucky', the B-side of Pumping Up Your Stereo which goes on sale today. The group's next album is due for release in September.
