By RUSSELL SMITH GOAL machine Carl Henry is set to line up for Witney Town for their trip across the Solent to face Dr Martens League Eastern Division leaders Newport IoW tomorrow.

Henry, the division's joint leading scorer with 16 goals this season, made a surprise appearance for AFC Wallingford last Saturday after high-riding Witney's game was called off - scoring twice in a 4-1 win.

Witney manager Andy Lyne is tolerating Henry's wanderlust while he is banging in the goals.

Lyne said: "We have not spoken about it, but he was the first there at training on Tuesday. I am more concerned about the millennium bug at the Oxford Radcliffe Hospital where I work!"

Meanwhile, forward Richard Bourne has joined Chippenham after being unable win a regular first-team place.

Witney Tn: Alder, Murphy, Abercrombie, Muttock, Tavinor, Merritt, Swann, Osmond, Neville, Caffel, Redknap, Waters, Henry, Teggart, A Flory, Organ.

Thame United goalkeeper Ian Moores has won the Ryman League Division 1 Umbro Safe Hands Award for the second successive month. Joint manager Andy Sinnott said: "He is playing very well and he is a good keeper. We are delighted for him."

But centre back Richard Peirson is still struggling with a calf strain.

Meanwhile, City are still in talks with Aldershot striker Joe Nartey after the two clubs agreed a four-figure fee, but personal terms are proving a stumbling block.

City manager Paul Lee said: "I am still hopeful, but it is purely down to money. He is looking at all his options and he has quite a few of them."

There are also no further developments on wingback Terry Morrisey, with City still awaiting the FA verdict on Witney Town's alleged 'illegal' approach.

Oxford City: from Foster, Smart, Smith, Hayward, Dark, Whitehead, Sweeney, Rose, Wimble, Strong, McCleary, Hulbert, Davy, Lee, Potter, Emsden. Striker Reuben Wells has quit struggling Abingdon Town after being dropped following the signing of Liam Herbert from Thame United.
