Formula 1 driver Jenson Button is planning a move to Monaco next year, he has revealed.

The Bicester-based 20-year-old lifted the lid on his plans for the future, including relocating to the playground of the rich and famous and buying a luxury yacht, in a weekend interview with a national newspaper.

Talking of his plans, the Williams driver said: "It makes sense for tax reasons.

"I hope to move next year and I will probably look for a place while I'm at this year's Monaco Grand Prix."

Jenson, who at one point was lying sixth in yesterday's Spanish Grand Prix before being forced to retire with engine failure, said: "Monaco is a cool place - it's warm all year round and they treat you well. Monaco is a good place for people my age - there are good gyms and there is also the beach. "And I love posing - I even wear my blue-lensed sunglasses when it's raining.

"It'll be fantastic to jump in my Ferrari and cruise about."

He was non-committal about whether his father, John, 56, with whom he shares a house in Bicester, would join him.

Jenson also revealed his dreams of owning a yacht.

"I have always loved yachts and it is just so cool to relax on one," he said.
